Havening Techniques® are a new psycho-sensory healing modality that that uses touch, distraction and visualisation to heal from distressing events, anxiety, emotional trauma, pain and fear. It is based on neuroscientific research and was developed by Dr Ronald Ruden and Dr Steven Ruden.
This training will be held online with Alison Shaloe and Becky Musta
In the training you will explore how Havening can be used to support your clients. It can be used for self care but also helps others to reduce stress and build emotional resilience.

Part 1
The training includes :
What Havening is and when and how to use it
Overview of the science of Havening
Explanation of different types of Havening
Observe Demonstrations of Havening
Hands on practical experience in breakout rooms with Facilitators
Discussion on working examples of How Havening can be used
This training is the first step to becoming certified.
Part 2
After the 4 day training you have the option to certify as a Havening Techniques® Practitioner
The Steps to complete certification are as follows:
- Complete a Science Review
- Complete The Code of Ethics Agreement
- Submit 30 written case studies
- Submit 2 video case studies
- Submit application fee $99
- For those practicing in the United States, please note you must also complete the Ethics Course independently administered by Midge Murphy JD ($149)
- Havening Practitioner membership dues are $99 per year.
- Your Training includes being mentored by Alison Shaloe to help guide you through the certification process; ensuring your success upon submitting your final Practitioner application to Havening HQ.
- Weekly practice group sessions will be provided by Alison Shaloe to help support you on your path to certification.
After the 16 hour training you will have :
